Our mission is to lead the revitalization of Malvern’s business district into a vibrant, thriving hub of community life. Through strategic collaboration with local businesses, residents, and the borough, we are dedicated to enhancing the center of town. By celebrating our historic heritage while fostering a welcoming atmosphere, we aim to create a dynamic destination for commerce, culture, and community connections that will inspire both residents and visitors to discover the authenticity of Malvern.
-
Empowering the heart of Malvern: a resource for businesses, residents, and visitors to promote thriving, vibrant business and community connections and enhance the character and uniqueness of the borough.

MKSR was established in 2023 following a Borough-led initiative to strengthen Malvern’s downtown. A community task force laid the foundation for this effort by developing recommendations based on proven Main Street revitalization principles, which ultimately led to the incorporation of Malvern King Street Revitalization as a 501(c)(3). Building on that groundwork, MKSR has since developed a strategic plan to guide its ongoing efforts. Today, MKSR is led by a dedicated Board of Directors that guides the organization’s mission and long-term vision for King Street
Malvern is a true Chester County hidden gem. Shop in our locally-owned boutiques and stores, enjoy our renowned restaurants and bakeries, or meet new friends at our lively community events. Ours is a small town with a big heart – and rich with opportunity.

Directed by the Board, Nancy leads the King Street revitalization efforts by promoting King Street as a destination, pursuing streetscape beautification and placemaking efforts which preserve the historic charm of the district, and spearheading recruitment and retention of small businesses.
